Gutter Guard Installation in Vaucluse

Vaucluse is a suburb of large properties with extensive rooflines, sandstone walls, tiled terraces and mature gardens overlooking the harbour.

Why Vaucluse homes need gutter guard installation

Big rooflines under mature figs and gums collect constant leaf litter that rots into the tiles and feeds lichen, while harbour humidity keeps sandstone damp enough to grow a dark organic film.

This is the archetype guard was made for. Fig and gum litter is heavy, constant and slow to rot, and on these long rooflines mesh across the valleys saves two or three clear-outs a year.

How we clean it

The gutter is cleared and the falls checked before anything is fitted, because guard over a blocked gutter just hides the problem. Mesh is then cut to the roof profile and fixed along the tile line and into the valleys.
